Morgan Ferris

Experience: With over 10 years of experience in coaching athletes, Morgan qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2017 from Health and Fitness Education (HFE) Ltd., before qualifying as a Strength & Conditioning Coach in 2023 from the University of Bedfordshire. Morgan has also qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2021 and Soft Tissue Therapist in 2024 from HFE Ltd. He has provided Strength & Conditioning Coaching and Sports Science Support for several elite and amateur sports organisations, including Academy Martial Arts, Empower Martial Arts, The Gym Group, Sports4Kids, 1stXV squad at Ampthill RUFC, Bedford Blues, Halas Hawks FC U14s and the University of Bedfordshire.
Currently, Morgan has roles as a Researcher and Visiting Lecturer in Biomechanics at the University of Bedfordshire - Institute of Sport and Physical Activity Research (ISPAR). Alongside this, he is also studying towards a PhD entitled “Chronic Adaptations to Long-Term Post-Activation Potentiation Exposure in Fast and Slow Stretch-Shortening Cycle Performances”, under the supervision of Dr Laura Charalambous, Dr Iain Fletcher and Dr Cheryl Barford.
Morgan is a specialist in warm-up modalities to enhance sports performance (post-activation potentiation) in strength-power sports and minimising risk of soft tissue injuries. Additionally, he is experienced in injury rehabilitation and clinical exercise, including those with asthma, Crohn’s disease & colitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, joint replacement, low back pain, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Qualifications: PhD Student in Biomechanics, BSc (Hons) in Strength and Conditioning. Level 4 qualifications in Nutrition for Health and Performance and Soft Tissue Therapy & Dysfunction. Level 3 qualifications in Outdoor Fitness, Sports Conditioning, Kickboxing Instructor, Exercise Referral, Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy, Level 2 qualification in Gym-Based Fitness Instructing.

Arti Shah

Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner
Experience: With over 30 years of experience in Physiotherapy, Arti qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1994 from the University of Wolverhampton BSc (Hons). She is highly experienced in assessing and treating a variety of complex musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. She has had previous roles as a Lead Physiotherapist in ITU medicine in Eastbourne, an Associate Physiotherapist at St Paul’s Physio and an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in the NHS Dudley Group of Hospitals. Alongside treating sports and soft tissue injuries, Arti is a specialist in the management of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), cervicogenic headaches and migraines, obtaining a Level 2 qualification from the Watson Headache Institute with direct supervision from Dr Dean Watson.
Alongside her roles at St Paul’s Physio and NHS Dudley Group of Hospitals, Arti is currently providing her expert physiotherapy services at Arti Shah Physiotherapy.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy, Level 2 Watson Headache Approach, Acupuncture and Injection Therapy.
